Draft for review · Identity Praxis, Inc. · Last updated October 2026
The short version
- No analytics, no tracking cookies, no advertising, and no third-party scripts unless you choose to load the booking calendar.
- If you send us a message, a speaking request or join the Praxamark™ waiting list, we keep what you send on our own server and use it only to reply and to work with you.
- We never sell or share your information, and we email you news only if you ask for it and then confirm.
- You can ask at any time to see, correct or delete what we hold.
What we collect, and why
| When | What | Why |
|---|---|---|
| You visit any page | Our web server records each request: network address, time, page and browser | To keep the site secure and working. Kept briefly, never used to profile anyone |
| You use the contact form | Your name, email, organization (optional), your interest and your message | To reply, and to follow up on what you asked about |
| You send a speaking request | The above, plus the event, date, format and audience you describe | To consider and plan the engagement |
| You join the Praxamark™ waiting list | Your name, email, organization (optional), and what you read and watch most (optional) | To tell you when Praxamark™ is ready for you |
| You send any form | A one-way scrambled (hashed) form of your network address | Only to stop floods of automated messages. Erased after one day |
| You tick “send me news” | Your choice, by brand (Identity Praxis or Praxamark™), and your confirmation | To send only what you asked for. Nothing is sent until you confirm from the email we send you |
| You change the colour theme | Your light or dark choice, in your own browser | So the site remembers it. It never leaves your device |
Where it is kept, and who can see it
Messages and sign-ups go to a server that Identity Praxis, Inc. operates on DigitalOcean in the United States. They are kept there in our own records and in our own customer relationship system (Twenty), which we run ourselves on the same server. Only Dr. Michael J. Becker and people working with him on your request can see them.
Two services act on our behalf and only as needed:
- DigitalOcean hosts the server.
- SendGrid (Twilio) delivers the emails we send, such as the receipt confirming we got your message.
If you choose to book a meeting, Calendly handles the booking under its own privacy policy. On our Book a meeting page, the calendar loads only after you click to show it.
How long we keep it
We keep your message and contact details while we are talking or working together, and afterwards for as long as you want to stay in touch. Ask us at any time and we will delete them. Waiting-list details are kept until Praxamark™ is ready for you, or until you ask us to remove them. [Decide: a fixed period after which inquiries that never became work are deleted.]
Your choices and rights
- See what we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete it.
- Stop any news at any time, from the link in every email we send.
Ask through the contact form. We will reply within 30 days, and we won’t ask you why. If you live in a place with its own privacy law, such as California or the European Union, these rights apply to you as that law describes.
Security
The site and the forms use encrypted connections (HTTPS). Our server is reachable only through its web front door, and the systems behind it are restricted to us. No system is perfect, and we will tell you promptly if something goes wrong that affects your information.
Children
This site is meant for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will appear here with a new date.
Praxamark™
Praxamark™ itself has its own statement: Praxamark™ privacy statement.
